Introduction

Sticky Bandits Trail of Blood — this is the fourth part of the popular series of slots from Swedish developer Quickspin, released on August 9, 2022. The game transports players to the harsh world of the Wild West, where the main characters — bandit-mystics — seek justice with the help of revolvers and lucky combinations.

Key features of the slot

1. High volatility.
2. RTP 96.23%.
3. Maximum win up to 17,279x the bet.

Design and atmosphere

The graphics are executed in the signature style of Quickspin: detailed characters, a gritty palette, and animations that convey the tense atmosphere of the place. The font resembles abandoned buildings in the Wild West, while the sound accompaniment includes the crack of a whip, gunshots, and melodic guitar. Overall, the slot creates an effective and captivating impression without excessive theatricality.

Bonus functions and unique mechanics

• Wild symbols: the game features five unique Wilds, each tied to its own baraban. They substitute for all regular symbols and participate in forming winning combinations.
• Revenge Free Spins: activates on landing 3, 4, or 5 Wilds on the field:
  • 3 Wild → 10 free spins.
  • 4 Wild → 12 frispins.
  • 5 Wild → 15 frispins.
  • All Wilds, including those that triggered the bonus, become sticky and remain in their positions until the end of the round. During this, new Wilds can also appear and become fixed.
• Risk-game: in Sticky Bandits Trail of Blood the classic risk-game (gamble feature) is absent.

Expert opinions and recommendations

The slot is ideally suited for experienced players ready for long sessions with rare but big wins.

Recommended

• Start with the minimum bet to 'progress' the slot.
• Do not interrupt the session immediately after entering the bonus — often the best wins come in the second or third round of frispins.
• Avoid automatic play at low balance — high volatility requires control over the budget.

Mathematical model

• RTP: 96.23% — above the industry average.
• Volatility: high — indicates rare, but potentially large payouts.
• Chances of winning:
  • Base game: ~63.91% of the total RTP comes from the base mode.
  • Bonus rounds: ~32.32% RTP is generated in frispins.
  • Probability of bonus activation: about 1 time in 150–200 spins on average.

Compared to analogs

1. Deadwood (Nolimit City) – more aggressive volatility, but similar theme.
2. Wanted Dead or a Wild (Hacksaw Gaming) – also a western with multipliers and chaotic mechanics.
3. Sticky Bandits 3 Most Wanted (Quickspin) – predecessor with a similar structure, but with a smaller maximum win.

The slot is fully adapted for mobile devices: works without lags on iOS and Android, retains all visual and functional features. The interface is optimized for touch control.
