The game transports players to the atmosphere of ancient China, adorned with symbols of luck, golden statuettes and, of course, a dense dragon. The main feature of the slot is a unique bonus round with 'Super Wilds' symbols and reels of free spins.
Key features of Dragon Hero

- Maximum win up to 5000x the bet.
- Unique Super Wilds, collecting regular Wilds.
- Bonus reels for determining the number of free spins.

Design and atmosphere
Dragon Hero is set in a rich eastern theme: the reels are placed against the backdrop of a traditional Chinese temple with red lanterns and golden details. The graphics are bright and detailed, animations are smooth. The sound accompaniment includes authentic Asian music and effects during wins, enhancing immersion. The overall impression is a quality product, but not a revolutionary one in the spirit of other eastern slots from Pragmatic Play.

- Free Spins: activated by 3+ Scatters (dragons). In this case, it launches from 1 to 10 bonus reels (depending on the number of scatters), each of which gives 1–3 free spins. Maximum – 30 free spins.
- Super Wilds: appear only on reels 2–4. They collect 1–3 regular Wilds inside themselves. During free spins, they become sticky and with each spin spread their Wilds to random positions.
- Scatter in free spins: each new dragon-scatter adds a half symbol Yin-Yang Wild to a random Super Wild. After two such halves, a supplemental Wild is formed, which also becomes part of the Super Wild.
- Bonus buy: for 100x bet you can immediately activate the bonus round with guaranteed 3 scatters. RTP when buying – 96.13%.
Expert opinions and recommendations
Dragon Hero — a typical slot with high volatility: the 'dead' spins in the base game compensate for the potential large wins in the free spins thanks to the multiplicity of Wilds.
Recommendations
- Use demo mode to assess the frequency of bonus activation.
- With a limited bankroll, avoid purchasing the bonus — the cost is too high.
- The strategy of 'low bets + waiting for the bonus' works best overall.
- Do not calculate on partial large payouts outside the bonus round.
Mathematical model
- RTP: 96.00% (standard), but operators can choose versions with 94.94% or 94.03%.
- Volatility: high (rating 5/5).
- Chances of winning:
- Base game: low hit frequency, mainly small wins.
- Bonus round: significantly increases the probability of large combinations due to the multiplicity of Wilds.
- Maximum win is capped at 5000x — any excess is annulled.
Compared to analogs
- 5 Lions Megaways (Pragmatic Play) — a similar eastern theme, but with Megaways and a higher maximum (10,000x).
- Floating Dragon Hold & Spin — also from Pragmatic Play, but with Hold & Spin mechanics instead of free spins.
- Tropical Tiki — another theme, but with a similar bonus structure and volatility.
Mobile version
Dragon Hero is fully adapted for mobile devices. The game is correctly displayed on smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android. The controls are intuitive, all interface elements scale without loss of quality. Demo version available without registration on most platforms.
