Review of the Eye of Horus Power Spins slot from Edict
Introduction
Eye of Horus Power Spins — this is a cult slot with an ancient Egyptian theme, developed by Edict (Merkur Gaming). Released in 2024, this automaton has become a modern interpretation of the original hit 'Eye of Horus', which first appeared in 2016. The main 'feature' of the Power Spins version is a classic gameplay with improved bonus opportunities and an increased maximum win.
Key Features
- Theme: Ancient Egypt, mythology, god Horus.
- 5 reels, 3 rows, 10 fixed paylines.
- RTP: 95.99%.
- Volatility: medium–high.
- Maximum win: up to 5,000x stake.
- Bonus features: free spins with expanding Wilds, risk-game.
Design and atmosphere
Eye of Horus Power Spins retains the firm visual style of Merkur: minimalist, yet atmospheric. The graphics are executed in warm golden-sandy tones, which immediately immerses you in the empty landscapes of Egypt. The symbols are stylized under hieroglyphs and artifacts — the Eye of Horus, Anubis, Ra, ankh, and veer. The sound accompaniment is rich: deep hits of barabans and soft melodies, not distracting from the game. The overall impression — a reliable, time-tested slot with a recognizable style and light retro-sharm.
