Bonus functions and unique mechanics
The main feature of the slot is this bonus game Hold & Win.
- Activation: to start the bonus round, you need to collect 6 or more bonus scarab symbols in any position on the barabans.
- Mechanics: after activation, the player receives 3 initial respins. All bonus symbols that participated in the activation become sticky (remain in their positions). With each new spin on the barabans, new bonus symbols may appear, which will also become sticky, and the number of respins will reset to 3.
- Values and jackpots: bonus symbols may contain cash multipliers (for example, from 1x to 16x of the total bet) or one of three fixed jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major. If during the bonus round a special Boost symbol appears, it collects all current values from other bonus symbols on the screen and adds them to your win.
- Completion: the round ends when the player runs out of respins or when all 15 positions on the barabans are filled with bonus symbols, which guarantees the maximum win.
Expert opinions and recommendations
Scarab Boost is a slot for patient and adventurous players who are ready for long dry spells for the chance to hit a big win in the bonus game. Due to the high volatility, it is recommended to manage your bankroll carefully.
Strategy
Start with minimal bets to prolong the gaming session and wait for the activation of Hold & Win. The main strategy is to wait for the bonus round, as it is there that the main potential of the slot is concentrated.
Mathematical model
- The slot has high volatility and an RTP of 95.7%, which is a standard indicator for games of this genre. This means that wins will be rare, but potentially very large.
- Chances for small wins are low, the main focus is on the bonus function.
Compared to analogs
- Crystal Scarabs: Hold and Win: a newer slot with similar mechanics, but on a 5x4 grid and 15 paylines.
- Queen of the Sun: another representative of the Egyptian theme from the same developer with Hold & Win functionality.
Mobile version
Scarab Boost is fully adapted for play on smartphones and tablets. The interface automatically adjusts to the screen size, and all control elements remain convenient and intuitively understandable. The quality of graphics and performance on mobile devices does not lag behind the desktop version.
