Review of the gaming machine Black Gold from Betsoft

Introduction

Black Gold — this is a captivating video slot from Betsoft, released on June 20, 2016. The game immerses players in the atmosphere of the oil rig of the Wild West, where instead of gold, they extract "black gold" — oil. The slot features vibrant 3D graphics, engaging bonuses, and a balanced mathematical model.

Key features of the Black Gold slot

1. Theme: oil rig of the Wild West.
2. 5 reels, 3 rows, 30 fixed paylines.
3. Average volatility.
4. RTP: 94.31%.
5. Bonus rounds: "Higher or Lower" and no-limit returns with multipliers.
6. Compatibility with mobile devices.

Design and atmosphere

Betsoft is known for its high-quality 3D slots, and Black Gold is a bright confirmation of that. Animated characters (including the owner of the oil company and his horse), live sounds of the rig, and background music in the style of country create a complete immersion. The graphics are detailed, and the effects during wins enhance the dynamics of the game. The overall impression is cinematic and atmospheric.

Characteristics and symbols

Parameter table of the Black Gold slot

Payouts for combinations (5 symbols on a line)

1. Oil magnet (highest symbol): 400x.
2. Horse: 200x.
3. Oil bonus: 100x.
4. Barrel with oil: 80x.
5. Card symbols (A, K, Q, J): 10x – 50x.

Bonus functions and unique mechanics

Black Gold offers two main bonus modes:

• Bonus "Higher or Lower": activates when 3 or more oil bonus symbols (Oil Pump) land on reels 1, 2, and 5. The player guesses whether the next number will be higher or lower than the current one. Each correct answer removes the win, but a mistake ends the round.
• No-limit returns: activate 3+ scatter symbols. You receive 8 free spins, during which the scatters become Wild with multipliers, increasing with each spin — up to x10.
• Wild symbol: replaces all regular symbols and participates in bonus payouts.

Risk-igra in classic view (doubling) is not — instead of it, a bonus "Higher or Lower" is used.

Expert opinions and recommendations

Experts recommend

• Play at medium stakes to prolong the gaming session and hope for bonuses.
